ExExaminers Driving School

Q:With all the recent negative press in regard to the driving school industry, how does one go about finding a reputable driving school that will teach my son to be a safe and responsible driver?

A:This is the question in one form or another we have heard many times in the past 2 weeks and many more times over the past 14 years as a Driver Examiner. The fact still remains that the knowledge and skill level you achieve through your driving school is the foundation that your driving strengths and weaknesses are built upon. Try and find the most professional looking outfit that meets your budget. Once you have found them, ask to meet the in-class & in-car instructors. Don’t be afraid to look up an answer to a difficult question. When you have an answer test their level of knowledge. Look at the condition of the classroom before you go to register. How does the person that recommended you to this school drive? This is sounding more and more like common sense, and after all, isn’t that yet another aspect of what driving safe & responsibly is all about?

MBA, CA - Softron Tax

Q:I am interested in becoming a qualified tax preparer. How do I go about being certified?

A:Over 22 million tax returns are filed each year and taxes continue to become more and more complex. There is a need for qualified tax professionals. Depending upon your background, you can choose to become a professional accountant and specialize in tax which may take years. You may also choose to take an introductory tax course through a community college or university.

If you want a more practical approach to tax preparation, then you may want to take a course through a professional tax preparation firm such as Softron. The cost of course is tax deductible and eligible for part-time education deduction.

Two courses are available: Level 1 and Advance Course. Level 1 covers all aspects of personal taxation. Advance course covers business, corporations and trust.

Q:What is the most cost effective way to deal with constantly loose lower complete dentures without using denture adhesives?

A:Mini implants are an in office procedure. Within 2 hours implants are in place and your dentures are secured. Mini implants provide rigged fixation for dentures right away. And there is no waiting for integration (normally implant integration takes up to 4 months, but there is no waiting for mini implants).

This procedure is a third of the cost of regular implants and has an extremely high success rate approaching 100%.
The surgery involves 4 puncture holes that are only 1mm in diameter and done with just freezing.

In order to complete this procedure effectively you will first need a thorough examination and x-rays. Your dentures need to be in reasonable condition.

Mini implants are well tolerated by most people in spite of many otherwise restrictive medical conditions.

Dr. Fingrut will keep a healthy smile on your face.
